Franco Cotana

Franco Cotana - Born in Marsciano (PG) on 12/22/1957, residing in Perugia, he graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1983. He is a Full Professor of Industrial Technical Physics and a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Perugia, coordinator of the International PhD in Energy and Sustainable Development accredited by ANVUR, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences since 2010, co-chair of the WG8 "Bioenergy and Biofuels" of the EU's SETPlan Strategic Energy Technology Plan, founder and director of the CRB Biomass Research Center, author of over 300 scientific publications and 25 patent applications in the fields of energy and environmental impact.
